The Veteran creatures enables you to get some reward along the way to finding the commander or another camp you can take. To me the keep daily is the hardest one to get. However, that has no bearing on the Vet daily. There are so many things bad about the vet daily. Why these 3 specific vets? Why especially the Wurm, which is so out of the way that no one gets it? Why have the vets on such long timers?
Why set it up so people are fighting each other over something with no bearing on the overall fight? Not sure but their are 3 other event creature on the map not sure if they give the daily since they are in the middle of nowhere. Champion spider not sure how it spawns, centaur and skritt ones. There were a lot of changes between the games, but the new Mesmer was a sticking point for some long-term fans. Of course, the Mesmer is often an important class in Guild Wars meta being practically mandatory for many raids and other group end-game content. Despite this, it can sometimes be hard to take these players seriously as they are often dressed in billowy skirts and high heels.
PuGs short for Pickup Groups are groups of players working together that were randomly put together by some in-game matchmaking system. Often, they contain an array of skill levels which means that experienced players who know the raid, dungeon, or fractal, may have to explain it to the newbies.
Some gamers, though, forget that they were new once, too. They are shocked that any player would dare to join a public session without memorizing the dungeon first. They just want to charge ahead, leaving dead players who can't keep up behind to be slaughtered. A lot of good intentions go wasted this way. Guild Wars 2 is gorgeous, but it's undeniably hard on fans' computers.
Even small improvements that fans clamor for, like adding the game to Steam, have been delayed. For veteran players, they probably didn't need any tech that was too high-end when starting out. However, as players near the end-game content -- especially as they start joining world events with dozens or hundreds of players -- any graphics card starts to struggle under the weight of rendering so many characters.
Not to mention that each expansion and living world quest has brought new, complicated environments to render. Eventually, every PC needs an upgrade. Warriors are a simple class meant to be appealing to a new player and easy to pick up. They give out a lot of DPS if played correctly and look pretty badass, too. So, one would assume that a lizard small enough to step on wouldn't be much of an issue. When pocket raptors joined the Guild Wars 2 enemy list, they became an immediate sensation.

There are 3 veterans: 1 Wurm — in the desert area on top of undercroft, east side of the flame shrine 2 Warg — next to the south camp 3 Harpy — when you go from depot to palace on those high cliffs, instead of turning right to go to the middle air shrine just go forth and you will find it.
